Boeing India is seeking an International Paralegal (Senior Analyst – Contracts Management) to support the Global Law Affairs team, to be based in the Delhi office. The International Paralegal (Senior Analyst – Contracts Management) will report to the Business Manager for the Boeing Law Department and the Country Counsel for India, and interface with a variety of Law Department attorneys and staff in regard to particular business unit or functional matters.
Labor and Employment: Support Country Counsel India on labor and employment matters for all business units. Working with local human resources team. Representative matters will include, but are not limited to, employment disputes; compliance requirements for both local and foreign hires; immigration and visa compliance for the latter; termination issues; managing the temporary assignment of employees to off-site locations.
Contracts, Procurement, Bengaluru Boeing Campus, Leasing: Support Country Counsel India on local contracting practices, principally in relation to commercial procurement, non-production procurement, commercial and residential leasing arrangements. Support on property tittle and vendor due diligence.
Investigations and Litigation: Support Country Counsel India for coordinating investigation and litigations in India.
Joint Ventures/M&A: Support Country Counsel India on M&A, restructuring and proposed joint ventures and acquisitions in India.
Advisory Responsibilities: Support Country Counsel India on legal research, as needed.
Office Support: Support India Country Counsel on preparation of PowerPoint presentations and training materials; management of Country Counsel’s calendar and meeting schedules; any other administrative functions as required.
Should work well with others, clearly communicating requirements, expectations and deadlines, asking questions to obtain and share relevant information.
Will have strong organizational skills and must be able to prioritize activities and perform multiple tasks while maintaining quality, speed, and accuracy.
Work well in a team environment, including coordination with colleagues and clients in multiple time zones.
Prior experience as a legal professional with an international company, large Indian corporation or law firm.
Should have good legal drafting skills, with an eye on recent legal case laws and developments.
Law degree (LL.B) from a recognized law university in India with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Undergraduate legal degree with company secretary qualifications or higher non-legal degree and/or paralegal education preferred.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with an international company or law firm.
The candidate should have solid drafting skills and in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Fluent English is required for this position.
