Bursting crackers and using loud speakers, sound boxes

The place I live is a semi town. Here people, churches uses loud speakers and burst crackers for festivals and other functions causing tension and high sound pollution and air pollution. What are the laws in India to curb these practices?

Please tell me whom should I give complaints to stop this problem

Sir, pollution control board authorities are the Authority to take action against them. Even you can make a complaint before the Police concerened. Coz, they have to get permission from the police to do all. There is prescribed sound how much desible should be used? where they can use it contineously or not? even an independent can file a suit for damages against the said person before the civil court to get an order.

All the best

Please dont hesitate to contact me for further clarification if any.
