legal question I AM WORKING IN A AUTONOMOUS BODY UNDER MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATION, I & T HAVING ITS OWN BYE-LAWS AND SERVICE CONDITIONS. I APPLIED AGAINST ADVT AND MY APPLICTION WAS FORWARDED THRO MY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER WHICH IS ALSO AUTONOMUS BODY UNDER MINISRY OF COMMERCE. AS PER THE REQUIREMENT I WAS FOR THREE YEARS IN THE REQUIRED PAY SCALE WHILE I APPLIED. I AM INFORMED THAT MY FEEDER GRADE PRIOR TO LAST SCALE HELD IS NOT AS PER THE FEEDER GRADE REQUIREMENT, AND MY RECRUITMENT IS ILLEGAL AND IS TO BE TERMINATED. IT MAY BE NOTED THAT MY APPLICTION WAS SCREENED BY SCREENING COMMITTEE AND THEREAFTER INTERVIEWED AND SELECTION COMMITTEE APPROVED MY APPOINTMENT. APPOINTENT LETTER WAS ISSUED WITH INTITAL THREE YEARS CONTRACT AND THEREAFTER ON CONTINIOUS APPOINTMENT SUBJECT TO MY PERFORMANCE. NOW I HAVE COMPLETED 3 YEARS CONTRACT AND GOT FURTHER ONE YEAR CONTRACT, WHICH THE MANAGEMENT IS TELLING WILL NOT BE EXTENDED DUE TO THE ABOVE REASON. KINDLY ADVISE WHETHER I HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO PROTECT MY EMPLOYMENT, SINCE THE SCREENING & SELECTION COMMITTEE HAS APPROVED MY APPOINTMENT WHICH WAS AGAINST VACANT SANCTIONED POST.
