legal question My ex wife registered an FIR for hacking her personal Email account (Under section 66 of Information Technology act 2000)and forensic expert also found some evidence on my official computer which was kept in the open area. Then i had surrender to the Ankleswar police and got bail on 20th july 2010. but i have not got any summon from the court till date (about 2 and half years passed).
what should i do as i am living in Amethi U.P. which is far away from the ankleswar gujrat?

legal answer from lawyer E00005619Check with police.. whether they have submitted charge sheet or not. If they have submitted charge sheet then only you will get summon.

In the mean time file for quash of FIR in High Court.

Good Luck.

legal answer from lawyer E00005169 BETTER YOU APPOINT A LAWYER TO LOOK AFTER YOUR CASE PROPERLY TO AVOID CANCELLATION OF BAIL WHICH IS VERY MUCH POSSIBLE FOR YOUR NON APPEARANCE ON DATES FIXED. PL. ALSO FILE A PETITION IN THE SAME COURT THROUGH LAWYER FOR DISPENSING WITH YOU FOR APPEARANCE ON EACH AND EVERY DATE AND IF THIS PETITION IS ALLOWED YOU ARE REQUIRED TO APPEAR IN THE COURT WHEN IT IS NEEDEDOR THE TRIAL BEGINS.
PRADEEP KUMAR, ADVOCATE.
