change of name in Revenue records   I have purchased a land in 1984 and got registered on my name. From 1984 to till date EC is on my name.Obtained Panchayath lay out approval and sold 277 sq yards to some one that too registered. In 1988 I applied to MRO ON RS10/= AFFIDAVIT giving the details of Land I purchased and enclosing Registered sale deed and requested to Issue Pahani and Khasra Pahani on my name.( It is simply asking mutation in other way) He issued Pahani Indicating the name of Pattadar who sold land to me and down of Pahani he stated my name stating that he is issuing Pahani Nakal to me. And in other letter he stated he can not issue Khasra as I have not mentioned old number. This letter addressed to me with my name . Pahani as well as Khasra Pahani letter have his file numbers. Now in this situation I am taking it for granted he has changed my name in revenue records and considered my representation of Affidavit. Is it legally right if it so how to establish with rules framed as per Law. Why because the dispute raised now stating that he issued only Nakal and he has not effected change of name. He says the Land I purchased is assigned land. How to challenge him is the question, according to me I completed all revenue formalities by informing him and he too agreed by giving Nakal on my name , if it is only copy of Pahani no need to mention any names except of pattadar who is holding land is it right or wrong I would like to have clarification to fight for justice. Please help

   Scrutiny of your documents is needed. If the land is assigned land, it is inalienable. Your title to the property would be in question, i.e., the registered sale deed of 1984 purchased by you.    DEAR CLIENT THE MRO IS RIGHT HE ISSUED ONLY PAHANI TO AN APPLICANT BUT NOT MUTATED THE LAND ON UR NAME. READ THE OTHER COLUMNNS OF PAHANI WHETHER UR NAME IS RECORDED IN THE POSSESSION COLUMN. TRY TO GET ALL THE REVENUE RECORD WITH REGARD TO PROPWRTY AND THEN CONTACT ME.
