legal question Sir,I'm lakshman 52 yrs widower with a 22yrs old daughter serving in BSF Gurgaon remarried by registry with a widow having a son 26 yrs old in the month of Jan 2019 notice and march 2020 registration with a condition that she could not come to stay with me before June 2020 because of her son's exam CBSE 12 th class. After registration in registry office she did not come to me and my house to stay with me. She is also serving in a private school as a teacher where her son also studying.sometime I approached her to come and stay with me but she denied by saying that she could only come after completion of her son's exam. Now due to covid-19 , lockdown her son's exam and competitive exam for next admission is delaying . But now she pressurise me to take full financial responsibility and threatening me to complaint against me that not taking any responsibility. Itold that I will take financial responsibility only when she or they come to me and stay with me. When sometimes I went to her parents house brought some nessesary items , purchased clothes for her and her daughter,bought daily vegetables and other necessary items whatever she told me to purchase. Give some legal advice please. Am I bound to take her fully financial responsibility before come to my house or stay with me even a single day ?

As per Hindu marriage Act sec 24"Maintenance pendente lite and expenses of proceedings". When a spouse approach appropriate court for Maintenance wherein there is no sufficient means of income to Petitioner the court find it reasonable to pay such orders of maintenance.
Similar in Sec 125 Cr.P.C when a Person who has sufficient source of income and refuse to maintenance his wife and illegitimate minor children is ordered to pay Maintenance.
