legal question Description
My husband announced triple talaq on Oct 3rd after a fight. Post which he told me he did it in anger. After the fight he dropped me to my matrimonial home on Oct 10th and since then is not receiving my calls and his family is also not responding. I enquired and came to know that he has left his house too. After two days he contacted my father and told her doesn't want to continue this relationsip and since then is absconding. What should I do? I don't want a divorce and want to stay with him. Should I file the triple talaq case. Also I don't have any witness for triple talaq as we both stayed alone and he announced it in front of me. What should I do next to bring him back to me and resolve the matter?

legal answer from lawyer E00321627Triple talaq is void. You want to continue the marriage. Subsequently he told you that he did in fit of anger. When the act of giving tt is void, it will not have any effect. Your marriage is still good. He is not answering you calls because he may be feeling guilty and sad. The sigh that he is repenting is he is absconding from home. There is no witness to tt. Wait for him. don’t file any case that will give wrong message that you don’t want to continue marriage. Wait for him, when he comes act as if nothing happened and in fact nothing happened as tt is void and there is now witnesses. Send him message that you are waiting for him. And don’t discuss the matter with any. You did a mistake in putting this question on website. For further clarification you may contact me. Hit the like button if the advice is useful to you.
